Jesse Jones Blair

IMG_3011_edited.jpg

Jesse Jones Blair comes from Idaho, where the Midwest meets the Pacific Northwest. It's hard to pin down exactly what he does, but here's what he doesn't: Jesse doesn't release music on an algorithm's timeline. He doesn't fill sets with covers of your parents' favorite top 40 hits.
What Jesse does is spill out how he feels in a soundscape of indie folk and melancholy, performing his take on deep cuts you forgot you loved, and originals you didn't know you needed. You may not know every word yet, but you will, and you’re going to love it.
Inspired by Bon Iver, Bright Eyes, Phoebe Bridgers, and Death Cab for Cutie. Dolly Parton is his lord and savior.

kileypet is a singer/songwriter hailing from Virginia, now based in Idaho Falls. After writing her first song in 2019, an experience she says "changed the trajectory of my life," Kiley has been dedicated to writing and sharing music with others. Her songs are grounded in nature imagery with a strong theme of being connected to self and community. You'll find earnest depth poetically woven into her lyrics; she is a gifted songwriter who sees the world more broadly. Releasing her debut album 'Mountain Shadows' in November of 2025, you can expect to see much more from this budding artist over the next few years.

Marissa Leigh

IMG_3689.jpeg

Marissa Leigh is a solo acoustic artist whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with a warm, stripped-down indie sound. Inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell and Eva Cassidy. Known for her melodic vocals and coffeehouse vibes, she brings a soulful, intimate style to every performance.

Marissa has been playing music for over 15 years, and excels at reimagining timeless classics, giving familiar songs a fresh acoustic twist while still honoring their roots. She has a deep love for writing her own songs about love, loss, and living life as a female creative.

An Idaho Falls native, Marissa recently returned home after taking a break to attend college. Having stepped out of the spotlight for a while, she’s excited to be back sharing music again, connecting with fellow artists and the music community through the honest magic of live music.

Kev Hess & Bradford Huntsman are the duo known as The Brothers Baloney. While neither is native to Idaho Falls, both now reside there, and they've been playing music together (informally) for years. After being harassed by their friends, Kev and Brad have finally joined forces (officially) to bring you a show like no other!  Making their public debut, you can expect smooth harmonies, solid melodies, and a few shenanigans. After all, they're full of baloney. 😉

The Molecules are a three-piece grunge / alternative band hailing from Rigby, Idaho. Originally a solo project started in 2023 by lead, Parker Hawkes, they are finally making their debut in the world!

A note from H&C - Parker is a former student whom we've helped with some recent recording. It's part of our mission to make sure young artists have opportunities to perform in the community.

Musicians deserve to be paid!

At Hess & Co. we believe Artists deserve to be paid for their art. Each featured musician will be given a base pay rate, as well as a cut of any tips given on the night of their performance. We do this through the utilization of our Community Fund. If you also believe musicians should be paid, you can donate directly through Venmo, or our online donation link, found here.
